ABOUT RIHAM ADNAN
Riham, the owner of Attrafit, is by profession a Personal Trainer as well as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Riham, or Hami as she likes being called, has a vast background in fitness and sports. She began with gymnastics and soon got involved with athletics and eventually became the champion of Lebanon in Long Distance Running for both 3000m and 5000m. She was also actively involved in other forms of sports such as volley ball, kick boxing, swimming and horse riding. Upon graduating from the Physical Education University in Lebanon she began her career as a Personal Trainer as well as a GX Instructor.
After years of experience in training women on different levels and with various conditions, she realized that women, more specifically Arab women, need to be educated more in fitness. Riham is a strong believer of the physical strength that Arab women possess and the role they play in building a generation of healthy and educated individuals. She has always dreamed of inspiring, educating and supporting her clients so she came up with the idea of opening Attrafit, a fitness enhancement studio. Her belief is that fitness is the key to the attractiveness of women, hence she came up with the name Attrafit. She hopes to promote fitness in the Arab world thus ensuring a healthier lifestyle. In order to further her cause she took many courses not only in fitness training but also in sports management and rehabilitation.
She believes that Attrafit is not just a business concept but also the portal through which she hopes to educate women about the importance of fitness. Her aim is to teach women how to exercise, to inform them about the proper techniques of exercising and how to gage their fitness level. Using rigorous methodology and empowering techniques, she has created a set of special classes which have been known to achieve the goals of a number of women.
